Weekly News
Jubilee Picnic
Thank you to everyone who came to our summer picnic to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. It was lovely to see everyone back on the school grounds again and enjoying themselves. Through your generosity the afternoon made around £700.00 for PTA funds which will go towards much needed resources for the school. Thank you to our wonderful PTA for organising the event and once again, to you all for your support.
New telephone system
We have recently had a new telephone system installed which works over the internet. The system has two options, option 1 to report a child’s absence and option 2 to speak to the school office. At the moment the current school number is not working for incoming calls so we have been given a temporary number to use which is 0333 880 3396. Once the issue is sorted we will revert back to 01926 842214. Thank you for your patience.
School Photographs
Jane Stapleton Photography will be coming in to school on Wednesday 22 June. They will be taking individual/sibling portraits as well as class group shots. If you would like your pre-school sibling to be photographed please come in to the school hall from 8.30am. Proof cards will then be sent home and you will be able to order photographs and accessories via the Jane Stapleton website. The school earns commission from the sale of all photographs and accessories so the more sales are made the more money we receive. If you would like to see Jane Stapleton’s GDPR policy, please contact Mrs Thirlaway. Thank you.
Last day of term
Just to confirm that the last day of term is Thursday 21 July and school is closed on Friday 22nd. Please update your calendars to reflect this. Thank you.
Music in Warwickshire – Have Your Say!
The Warwickshire Music Hub provides musical opportunities for thousands of children and young people in schools and communities across Warwickshire every week.
To help ensure that they are providing the right musical opportunities, in the right way, at the right time and in the right place for you, they want to know:
• About the types of music you enjoy.
• If you learn or would like to learn how to play a musical instrument.
• If you would like to make or create your own music.
• Where and how you do or might want to do this.
Please take a few moments to tell them about your music making, and musical ambitions using the links below.
• Primary aged children click here
• Secondary aged young people click here
• Children & young people in SEND settings click here
The survey is live until Friday 8th July 2022, please share the link with your friends.
