Weekly News
Parents evening
If you have not signed up for your parents evening appointment please do so via the following link:
With regards to looking at your child’s work, those of you who have chosen a face to face slot will be able to look through your child’s books in the hall whilst waiting for your appointment. For those of you who requested a virtual appointment you will have the opportunity to look at books between 2.45 and 3.10pm on either Friday 25 March or Monday 4 April. There is no need to book a slot for looking at books.
For face to face appointments teachers will be available as follows:
Reception, Mrs Horton – In her classroom and parents wait in the hall
Class 2 – Miss Smith – In the staffroom and parents wait in the hall
Class 3 – Miss Hancock – In her classroom and parents wait in the hall
Class 4 – Mrs Clinton – In her classroom and parents wait in the hall
Access to the hall will be via the main entrance gates which will be open throughout the evening.
To ensure we do not have a large number of parents on site at one time, please do not come for your appointment excessively early as we want to minimise the risk of spreading Covid.
Warmer weather
As the weather has warmed up this week, please can you ensure your child has sun cream applied before they come to school as they will be outside during break and lunch times and for some PE sessions. If you require them to reapply cream during the day, please send in a small amount in a named pot which the children can apply themselves. They also need a sunhat and their water bottle in school every day. For those children that require them, sunglasses are permitted.
Hardship Funding
As part of the Household Support Fund grant, the Local Welfare Scheme are also running a countywide fuel campaign from 4th to 22nd April 2022. The Scheme will be offering a one-off payment to Warwickshire residents finding it difficult to pay for fuel bills. Applications for the payment, in the form of a voucher, must be made by the 22nd April 2022. Leaflets on the fuel voucher campaign and other financial hardship support that is available are attached.
