Your child’s class teacher will send you a piece of their work to look at. In the new year we are hoping to be able to invite parents in to classrooms in small groups to view their children’s work. Further details will be sent out next term.
Disabled parking space
We have designated an area on the yellow zig zags in front of the school office for anyone who holds a blue disabled badge to enable them to park easily when dropping off and picking up their children.
Nuts / sesame seeds in school
Please can we remind everyone that as we have children in school with nut and sesame seed allergies, not to send in any nuts or nut products, including Nutella or sesame seeds in your child’s break time snacks or lunchboxes. Thank you.
New staff member
We would like to welcome Mrs Vicki Croucher to our team. Mrs Croucher will be teaching in our Reception class one day per week on a Monday. Mrs Horton will continue to teach the Reception children, Tuesday to Friday.
PTA Christmas film night
Christmas film night is tomorrow, Friday 3 December. The payment line is now open to book your tickets. Tickets cost £5 each which includes squash, popcorn & fruit.
For KS2, by purchasing a ticket you are consenting to your child watching a PG rated film.

Tomorrow is also Christmas jumper day where everyone can come to school in their Christmas jumpers or outfits in exchange for donating a raffle prize for our Christmas raffle.

Christmas post box
The post box is now available in the library for the children to post their Christmas cards for internal distribution in school. Please ensure that surnames and year groups are clearly written on the envelope to aid delivery. Please use the post box rather than handing out cards. Thank you.
A reminder that the children will be watching the on-line performance of Cinderella in their classes during December. We would like to ask for a voluntary contribution of £2.50 per child. The children will all be given an ice cream to enjoy whilst watching the performance. Please pay your voluntary contribution via the Schoolcomms Gateway. Thank you.

Annual Christmas gift collection for local children in need
The Market Hall Museum team are appealing for donations to their annual collection of Christmas gifts for Warwickshire Children’s Services.
Over the last few years people have been very generous and it has been a highlight for the museum team to facilitate the collection.
If you would like to donate a Christmas present it can be dropped at the museum between 10am and 5pm Tuesday – Saturday. The collection will run between Wednesday 10th November and Saturday 11th December. Gifts must be new, unwrapped and suitable for ages 0-16.
Norton Lindsey light switch on
A reminder that the residents of Norton Lindsey will all be switching on their Christmas lights at 5.30pm this Saturday, 4 December. Just after this there will be a special visitor passing through the village as follows:
5.35 Tractors will begin from the bottom of New Road up to the pub.
5.40 Snitterfield Lane, then back up to Main Street
5.50 Left onto Wolverton Road, then up Curlieu Lane
5.55 Out onto Gannaway and down to Saddlebow Lane
6.00 Back into the village via Wolverton Fields, into Norton Lea and then head back past the pub.
This year they are raising funds for Warwickshire Air Ambulance. All parents and children of Wolverton School are welcome to come along.
