Weekly News
Staff training day
A reminder that Monday 8 November is a teacher training day and school is closed to pupils.
New Staff at Wolverton
We have two new members of staff that have joined us this term as teaching assistants. Mrs Jenny Caulfield started with us in September and is currently supporting in Reception and Class 3.
Mr Matt Jones joined us this week and is working in Class 3 and 4. We would like to offer a warm welcome to both of them.
First aid sessions
Further to our email earlier this week, Emily Stephens from A C First Aid is very kindly running first aid sessions for all the children in school. Each child will receive a certificate, sticker, and either a First Aid Friends book RRP £4.95 (Reception and Class 2) or a DR ABC magazine RRP £3.00 (Class 3 &4). They will also have a bandage to practice with which they can take home. Although there is no charge for these sessions, we are asking parents for a £5 minimum donation towards raising funds to buy a defibrillator to be installed in school. Donations can be made via the Schoolcomms Gateway. Thank you in anticipation of your support.
Admissions for September 2022
We have added an addition date for our open afternoons. If you know anyone who has a child due to start Reception in September 2022, please let them know we will be holding an extra afternoon on Monday 22 November and they can visit the website to book a slot.
Winter coats
Now the weather is turning colder, please ensure your child has a warm coat in school every day.
Harvest Festival donations
Thank you to everyone who donated food items, these will be given to the Stratford Food Bank.
Kind regards
