On-line learning over the summer
We would like you to encourage your children to continue to do some reading, writing and maths over the summer holidays to give them the opportunity to practise key skills. All the on-line learning sites that children use in school will be available to use:
Sumdog, Spelling Shed, Phonics Play, Times Table Rockstars, Read Theory, Yumu Music, and Active Learn Maths. Purple Mash is available via the welearn 365 portal. Log ins for these sites have been put in your child’s portfolio in their Class Dojo account. Oak Academy has free lessons to do and free e-books are available from the Oxford Owl’s website.
‘Open the Book’ summer camp
The Open the Book summer camp takes place in the Graham Simons room which is next to the church in Snitterfield and not Norton Lindsey as stated in last week’s newsletter.
Governors annual parental questionnaire
A reminder that the governor’s questionnaire is live until 30 July 2021. Please follow the link to complete.

Parking survey
Schools in Warwickshire are working with Warwickshire Road Safety Partners to undertake a review of parking outside Warwickshire’s schools. They are reviewing parking issues outside schools to greater understand and address the problems schools experience.
We would like to invite you as a resident or parent/carer to participate in a (5 minute) school parking survey. Your response, which will remain anonymous, will be analysed, and used to identify specific issues and help shape future initiatives to address unsafe and inconsiderate school parking and help to make the roads around schools safer.
