A round-up of the latest school news for week ending 08.07.2021
Although the Government has announced that step 4 of the roadmap out of lockdown will go ahead on 19th July with all restrictions being lifted, we have decided to keep current procedures in place until the end of term to protect our pupils, staff and parents, so the start of the summer holidays isn’t spoilt by illness or 10 days of isolation. Thank you for your understanding.
Tomorrow we are having a transition afternoon in school, where all the children will move up to their new year group. To ensure contact between bubbles is kept to a minimum, the children will not go back to their original classrooms at the end of the day. This means that the children in Reception, Year, 1, Year 2 and Year 3 will be leaving school by the main gate, and children in Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 will be exiting school via the gate by the school office. All timings will remain the same.
