Weekly News
Re-opening of schools to all pupils
You should all have received a letter this morning outlining the arrangements for the safe return of all pupils to school next Monday 8 March. As there are some new procedures in place including new staggered drop of and pick up routines, please can you ensure you have read the letter and are familiar with all the new arrangements before next Monday. Thank you.
Preparing your child for school
We are very much look forward to welcoming you all back next Monday. In preparation for this the teachers have prepared a short video of their classroom for the children to see how they are set up. There are a number of things you can do to prepare your child:
- talk together about their return to school
- watch the video together
- establish bedtime routines
School lunches
Baileys Catering will be providing hot meals again for children in Reception and KS1 (Class 2) only. We are currently looking in to how we may be able to offer a hot meal option to KS2 after Easter. In the meantime, KS2 children can either order a packed lunch from Baileys or bring in their own from home preferably in a disposable packaging.
Red Nose Day 2021
Red Nose Day takes place on Friday 19 March, we are asking the children to come in to school in non-uniform in exchange for a donation to the Comic Relief charity. We will be setting up a Just Giving page for your donations and will send out a link to this in due course.
