Weekly News
Mental health week
From 1-7 February 2021, we’re taking part in Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week. This year’s theme is Express Yourself. Place2Be has created activities and resources to help children (and adults) to explore the different ways that they can share their thoughts, feelings and ideas.
There are lots of resources on the Children’s Mental Health Week website that you can use with your child at home including activity ideas, tips for parents and carers, and an online assembly which will be available from Monday 1 February. Visit childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk to find out more.
Remote learning
The continued learning policy is available on the website for your information. Follow the link: https://www.wolvertonprimary.org.uk/our-school/remote-learning/
Attached is a useful document containing remote learning tips for parents. This can also be found on the website along with some useful on-line safety guidance. We will periodically update this page of the website with links to documents we think you may find useful.
School office
Mrs Thirlaway is currently only in school on a Tuesday and a Thursday. Please avoid ringing the school phone on a Monday or Wednesday, instead either send an email, or if urgent please ring the school mobile 07881 010552. Thank you.

Notices for our in-school learners
Please can we ask that you arrive at school promptly at 8.45am so the children can be greeted by a member of staff then taken in to school quickly. If you arrive late then the morning routines and learning are interrupted whilst staff fetch latecomers from the office entrance. Thank you.
If the weather is wet or snowy, please ensure your child has the correct footwear for going outside, ie. wellies.
PE will now be on a Friday and children should come to school wearing their PE kit.
