Daily TEAMS catch-up meetings
Please remember that staff will send out TEAMS invites to your child’s welearn365 email address only. Other email addresses will not be recognised as safe so you will not be ‘allowed’ in to the meeting.
Home working
Mrs Thirlaway is working from home a couple of days a week so if you need to contact her please either ring the school mobile (Monday to Thursday) or send an email to admin5201@welern365.com thank you.
Celebration of children’s learning
As we did in the previous lockdown in March, we have created a page on our website in celebration of the children’s learning both at home and in school. These pictures are all anonymous so you and your child can have fun spotting their pieces of work. Please follow the link:
Young Poets’ competition
The Stratford Literacy Festival is running a ‘Felix Dennis Young Poets Competition’ which may be of interest to your child/ren. The competition is open to children and young people aged 5 to 21 and author Tracey Corderoy will judge the entries under three age categories, with a prize for the winning poem in each category. All of the best poems will also be published in a special poetry collection.
The competition is now open for entries and they would love to have as many from local schools as possible. Deadline for entries is Friday 5 March 2021. For full details visit: https://www.stratfordliteraryfestival.co.uk/competitions

School Healthworks newsletter
Following the government’s lockdown announcement, Warwickshire School Health are still available to support schools and their children, young people and families. They are unable to meet parent/carers and young people face-to-face in most circumstances, therefore interventions are being delivered either by telephone, video call or ChatHealth text messaging. The National Child Measurement Programme and Health Needs Assessments have been suspended. Further updates will follow in due course.
