A round-up of the latest school news for week ending 26.11.2020
If you have not yet booked your slot for parents evening, please follow the link below to book. Parents’ evenings are being done virtually via TEAMS this term. Teachers will send out TEAMS invites nearer the time to enable you to join the meetings. https://www.wolvertonprimary.org.uk/booking/
Viewing children’s work
Under normal circumstances the children’s books are made available at parents’ evening for you to see what your child has been doing through the term. Obviously, this can’t happen at the moment. However, your child’s class teacher will be choosing a couple of pieces of work to show you during your 10-minute TEAMS call on parents evening.
Governors parental questionnaires
The governors would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the two on-line questionnaires set up earlier this year. The results were discussed at the termly governors meeting this week. If you had named your questionnaire you should have received a personal response from Mrs Dean. All comments and suggestions have been duly noted. Governors are working together to discuss how they can improve the questionnaires to gain vital parental feedback on a more regular basis.
Christmas post box
Normally at this time of year we have the internal post box out for the children to send Christmas cards to each other. Unfortunately, this year we cannot do this due to the potential for transmitting the virus around the school.
Norton Lindsey light switch on
The residents of Norton Lindsey will all be switching on their Christmas lights at 5.00pm on Saturday 5 December. Just after this there will be a special visitor passing through the village. All parents and children of Wolverton School are welcome to come along, but must follow the current social distancing guidelines.
