A round-up of the latest school news for week ending 24.09.2020
Absence due to self isolation
If your child is absent from school because they are waiting for the result of a COVID test then work will be sent home via ClassDojo. To ensure the work is set in a timely manner for your child to complete, please, if possible, let us know via email the night before that your child will not be in school. Completed work should then be uploaded to ClassDojo for return to your child’s class teacher.
We have had a couple of cases of threadworms in school. This is a common type of worm infection particularly in children under 10 years of age. The worms are white and look like small pieces of thread. If you think your child may have this infection please treat them accordingly. Medication is readily available from your local pharmacy and usually comes in the form of a chewable tablet or liquid. For more information follow the link to the NHS website https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/threadworms/
