Summary for September 2020
As far as possible we would like school to be back to normal in September, however there are some adjustments we still have to make and until we receive further guidance, the main changes will be as follows:
The children will be in ‘class bubbles’ which will not mix with each other.
Staggered drop off and pick up times.
Children will not get changed in school and need to come dressed in PE kits on the day they have PE.
No pencil cases to be brought in from home.
Each child’s equipment- pens/pencils etc will be provided by school and stay in school.
No whole school or celebration assemblies.
Lunch will be eaten in either the hall or the classroom.
Lockers will only be used by KS2 pupils to store packed lunches in, which will avoid the need to use the communal lunch trolleys.
In the event of a coronavirus outbreak the school would close immediately and lockdown measures for home-learning put into action.
School is mandatory for all children from September 2020.
