New staff members for September
We are very pleased to announce we have three new members of staff joining our team in September. After securing a teaching post in a school in Rome, Miss Brind will be leaving us at the end of the school year. We wish her all the best in her role and new life in Italy. We are happy to say Miss Megan Hancock will be joining us in September to teach Class 3.
Mrs Sarah Newey will be joining us as part of the midday supervision team and we have appointed a new teaching assistant for KS2, Miss Rebecca Redmile. As well as providing support in Class 3 & 4 Miss Redmile will also be part of the midday supervision team.
I am sure you will all join with us in welcoming them to Wolverton School.
We are now ‘tweeting’ on a regular basis. If you use Twitter please look us up and follow us @WolvertonSchool
Celebration of childrens’ learning
We are now uploading all the pictures of the children’s home learning achievements directly in to a gallery on the school website. There are also some pictures of work that the children have done in school. Please follow the link to look at the gallery. https://www.wolvertonprimary.org.uk/news/2020/06/celebration-of-home-learning
Raincoats / suncream
As the weather is unpredictable at the moment, please ensure your child has a waterproof coat in school with them every day. For the Reception children, this means they are able to go outside to play even if it is drizzling with rain. The forecast for next week is to be very warm and sunny so please ensure your child has sun cream and a sun hat with them. Thank you.
Kind regards
