Weekly News – 04.06.20

It has been lovely to see both the children and parents back at the Wolverton site since we reopened for the children of key workers and eligible year groups on Tuesday. It has been so nice to hear the the sound of children’s voices in school after many weeks of silence. We very much look forward to welcoming everyone back to school once it is safe to do so.

Celebration of home learning

Each week we are going to compile a collage of work, art and pictures that the children have done to celebrate their home learning achievements. Please see this week’s selection attached.

Information for Reception, Year 1 & 6 children
Break time fruit snack

The government have suspended the fruit scheme at the moment so the school is not receiving fruit. Please could children in Reception and Year 1 bring in a break time snack of piece of fruit or a vegetable. Thank you.

Outdoor essentials

Please can you ensure your children have the following items with them as necessary:

A water bottle in school every day

Warm sunny weather – hat and sun cream both named

Cool rainy weather – coat

Mr Bump letter

If your child has an accident in school, we will not be sending Mr Bump letters home, instead your child’s class teacher will contact you via ClassDojo to inform you of their accident/injury.

Baileys packed lunch

Baileys will be adding 2 further options to their packed lunch menu, a slice of pizza and a sausage roll. These will be available to order from 15 June.
