Weekly News
Area Athletics
Well done to all the children in Class 4 who competed in the area athletics in Studley this week. They behaved beautifully, gave their all in the various events and were a credit to the school. A big hearty congratulations to them all.
Please can we have all the athletics vests laundered and returned to school asap. Thank you.
World Book Day
World Book Day is Thursday 5 March. This year we are doing things slightly differently. On Wednesday 4 March, we have 2 authors coming in to school to work with all the children. On World Book Day itself, the Reception children will be dressing up as their favourite book character. For Years 1 to 6, instead of dressing up we will be making book hats in school. Further details of this will be given after half term.

We are pleased to say that the PTA have a new Treasurer. Charlotte De Boer-Davies has taken over from Tracey Brash. We would like to thank Tracey for all her hard work, time and commitment during her 3 years as Treasurer.
The film night was once again a huge success, total raised for PTA funds was just over £200. A big thank you to the PTA volunteers for organising and running the event and to everyone who supported it by buying tickets.
At the end of the day tomorrow, 14 February, the PTA will be holding the following events after school:
- Second hand uniform sale
- Stationary sale
- Cake sale, with Year 1 & 2 providing the cakes
Please come along and support these events. Thank you.
