New school website survey

Break time snacks & healthy eating policy
Can we remind you that in line with our healthy eating policy sugary and high fat snacks are not allowed. The Reception and KS2 children are given free fruit as part of the government fruit scheme, however, all pupils are welcome to bring a healthy snack from home, such as fruit, vegetables or dried fruit, for the morning break time. The school will actively discourage all other snacks. There is guidance on this and what constitutes a healthy lunch box in the attached policy.
PTA film night
Tickets are on sale from your class reps for tomorrow’s film night. The PayPal account will close at 8.00 pm this evening so you will need to have purchased your tickets by then.
Premier Active after school clubs
Please note that when booking after school clubs through the Premier Active site, you can no longer choose between a sport or creative recreation there will only be one choice. Children can then choose which they would prefer to take part in. After half term there will be different activities on offer.
Cycling safety
Following a recent case review into the death of a child following a road traffic accident, we would like to remind all parents and children of the importance of wearing a helmet when cycling on roads and being vigilant about road safety.
Cross Country – Years 5 & 6
The next cross country race takes place this Saturday, 8 February at the Croft Preparatory School, Alveston Hill, Loxley Road, Stratford, CV37 7RL. The first race starts at 10.00am, no spiked shoes are allowed. There is parking on the school grounds. Please let Mrs Dean know if you are planning to attend.
Safer Internet Day Tuesday 11 February
Safer Internet Day 2020 will be celebrated globally with the theme: Together for a better internet.

Indoor Athletics
Children in Class 4 are taking part in the annual indoor athletics competition in Studley on Tuesday next week, we wish them good luck in the competition and look forward to hearing all about it.
