Year 1 Phonics screening check

  • 88% of pupils working at the (WA) the required level
  • 13% of pupils working towards (WT) the required level
  • 100% of pupils who retook the phonics screening test in Y2 achieved the required level.

KS1 Data

  • 80% of pupils achieved expected standard in reading
  • 80% of pupils achieved expected standard in writing
  • 87% of pupils achieved expected standard in maths
  • 87% of pupils achieved expected standard in science
  • 80% of pupils achieved expected standard in reading, writing and maths (combined)
  • 47% of pupils working at greater depth in reading
  • 27% of pupils working at greater depth in writing
  • 33% of pupils working at greater depth in maths
  • 20% of pupils working at greater depth in reading, writing and maths (combined)

KS2 Data 

  • 64% of pupils achieved expected standard in reading
  • 64% of pupils achieved expected standard in writing
  • 64% of pupils achieved expected standard in maths
  • 100% of pupils achieved expected standard in science
  • 71% of pupils achieved expected standard in GPS
  • 64% of pupils achieved expected standard in reading, writing and maths (combined)
  • 29% of pupils working at greater depth in reading
  • 14% of pupils working at greater depth in GPS Progress

Progress

Progress from KS1 to KS2 for reading (3.4) is well above the national average which puts Wolverton School in the top 25% of schools in this subject.

Progress from KS1 to KS2 for maths (-0.4) is in line with the national average.

Progress from KS1 to KS2 for writing (-0.8) is very slightly below the national average.
